You are planning a short holiday next month and found an advertisement for a hotel that looks suitable. However, the advertisement does not clearly say whether breakfast is included or if there is parking available. You want to get this information before booking.
Write an email to the hotel owner. In your email, do the following:
- Explain why you are interested in the apartment
- Ask whether breakfast and parking are included
- Request information about the easiest way to make a booking
Sample Answer
Dear Hotel Manager.
I’m writing because I saw an advertisement for your hotel on Facebook last week. I’m planning a holiday in Tampa next week, and I think your hotel has a perfect location near the coast. I’m also impressed by the fitness center shown in the ad, as I like to stay active when I’m taking a trip. I have a couple of questions, however. Could you please let me know if breakfast is included? If so, could you also let me know when it is served? Also, I’d like to know whether parking is provided at the hotel, or if I should park my rental car somewhere else.
Finally, it would be great if you could let me know the easiest way to make a booking. I just want to avoid any booking fees that will add to my overall cost.
Thanks for your assistance with this.
Best wishes,
Carmen Wheeler
