You attended a guest lecture on campus by Dr. Amina Rashid on Monday about “Managing Stress and Staying Productive as a College Student.” You wanted to ask a follow-up question after the talk, but there were too many students waiting to speak with her. Write an email to Dr. Rashid. In your email, do the following:
- Explain that you attended her lecture and briefly mention what you found especially helpful.
- Ask if she could share more information about the techniques she talked about.
- Ask if she has any suggestions for resources you could use to improve your study habits this semester.

Hello Dr. Rashad,
I attended your lecture on Monday about managing stress, and enjoyed it quite a lot. Several of my classmates also enjoyed it, so I must thank you for taking the time to visit our campus and give such an inspiring presentation. All of us found your comments about dealing with exam-related anxiety particularly useful. If possible, could you share additional information about the strategies you mentioned during the talk? Perhaps you could pass along copies of the articles you mentioned during the talk, or examples of how students have put them into practice. Moreover, I would really appreciate it if you could recommend some resources I could utilize to improve my study habits. Are there any books you would recommend? Or perhaps there are some websites I could check out for additional ideas.
Thank you very much for your time,
Michael Schertzer
