I definitely think it’s better to learn a foreign language at a young age. First of all, it will help you to make more money when you’re  older. For example, when my brother and I were children growing up in New York, we learned both English and Mandarin. Now, he works for the Bank of Shanghai, earning over 200,000 dollars a year. In addition, learning a second language is great for a child’s brain development and I think it’ll help them learn other languages faster. For instance, when my daughter Emma was three years old, she learned both English and German. By the time she was 8, she could also speak Spanish and Arabic. That’s why I certainly think it’s better to learn a language when you’re very young.
