A few weeks ago I wrote about the phenomenon of tests designed to facilitate global student mobility being used for domestic admissions. I also wrote about how lucrative this can be for test makers.

This week the ETS Korea team explored the same topic with a long blog post about the many cases when domestic students (and others) in that country might need a TOEFL score.

This is one reason why Korea remains a top country (top 3? top 4?) for the TOEFL test in terms of overall volume.
