No New TOEFL For Aus and NZ?

I was reading the instructions for “TOEFL Access” (as one does) and I saw a notice that “Australia and New Zealand will not be affected by the significant updates to the TOEFL iBT® test which are being made after January 21, 2026 that include a new 1–6 score scale and adaptive testing capabilities” and “For institutions based in Australia and New Zealand, the TOEFL iBT® test remains unchanged.”

Mildly interesting.
